who we are

Guest Artists was established in 1990, since when we have expanded with offices in London, Sheffield and Edinburgh. Our diverse team comes from a variety of musical backgrounds - from academia to performance - but we all love seeing an event brought to life by our careful curation of music and entertainment.

Our clients value us for our creativity, the calibre of our musicians and the quality of our event coordination. We are the go-to classical music experts for a select roster of corporate clients and high-profile individuals, and are engaged as a specialist sub-contractor by some of the UK’s most exclusive party planners and event organisers.

David Guest is our Creative Director. A Cambridge University graduate with particular expertise in vocal and choral music, David originally trained as a singer, and performed with internationally-renowned ensembles including Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Les Arts Florissants and The Academy of Ancient Music, before founding Guest Artists.

We provide professional musicians and associated entertainment and production services for events of all kinds worldwide.

For many years, we were primarily known as a provider of music for weddings and corporate functions. We still work extensively in these areas providing superb string quartets, covers bands, DJs and non-musical entertainment.

But what sets us apart is that, when required, we can also offer a more scholarly, academic approach, pairing music with art, history and architecture.
